Peanut Butter Fritos Candy (Print Version)

Ingredients:

01 - 1 cup granulated sugar.
02 - 1 cup light corn syrup.
03 - 1 cup creamy peanut butter.
04 - 14 ounces Fritos (about 1 ½ bags).
05 - 1 cup chocolate chips or melting chocolate.
06 - Sprinkles (optional).

Instructions:

01 - Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat and set aside.
02 - In a large pot over medium heat, combine the sugar, corn syrup, and peanut butter. Stir frequently until everything is incorporated and starts to bubble.
03 - Remove the pot from the heat and gently stir in the Fritos until fully coated.
04 - Spoon the mixture onto the lined baking sheet using a cookie scoop or large spoon.
05 - Let the candies set for 30 minutes at room temperature.
06 - Melt the chocolate chips or melting chocolate in 30-second intervals in the microwave, stirring after each interval until smooth.
07 - Using a fork, drizzle the melted chocolate over the candies. Add sprinkles if desired.
08 - Let the candies cool completely before serving.
