Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175°C).

In a large skillet, cook ground beef and onion until beef is no longer pink; drain excess fat.

Stir in taco seasoning and refried beans; heat through until well combined.

In a separate bowl, blend mushroom soup with sour cream until smooth.

Spread half of the soup mixture in the bottom of a baking dish.

Place a layer of tortillas over the soup mixture, tearing them as needed to fit the dish.

Spread half of the beef mixture over the tortillas and sprinkle with about 1 cup of cheese.

Repeat layers, ending with remaining cheese on top.

Bake for 20 minutes or until cheese is completely melted and bubbly around the edges.
