Get your oven nice and warm at 350°F (175°C).

Take the brie out of its wrapper. If it came in a wooden box, you can put it back in after unwrapping - it makes a cute serving dish! Otherwise, pop it in a small baking dish.

Using a sharp knife, make shallow cuts in a crisscross pattern on top of the brie. This helps the jam melt into the cheese while baking.

Spread the fig jam over the top of your scored brie. If you're using nuts, herbs, or a drizzle of honey, add them now.

Pop it in the oven for 15-20 minutes, until the cheese gets soft and melty when you gently press it.

Let it rest for 5 minutes (hot cheese can be dangerous!), then serve with your favorite crackers, bread, or fruit.
