Baked Brie with Fig Jam (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Components

01 - 1 wheel Brie cheese (8-10 ounces)
02 - 1/4 cup fig jam

→ Optional Toppings

03 - 1/4 cup walnuts or pecans, roughly chopped
04 - 1 tablespoon honey
05 - 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves

→ For Serving

06 - Your choice of crackers, sliced baguette, or fresh fruit

# Instructions:

01 - Get your oven nice and warm at 350°F (175°C).
02 - Take the brie out of its wrapper. If it came in a wooden box, you can put it back in after unwrapping - it makes a cute serving dish! Otherwise, pop it in a small baking dish.
03 - Using a sharp knife, make shallow cuts in a crisscross pattern on top of the brie. This helps the jam melt into the cheese while baking.
04 - Spread the fig jam over the top of your scored brie. If you're using nuts, herbs, or a drizzle of honey, add them now.
05 - Pop it in the oven for 15-20 minutes, until the cheese gets soft and melty when you gently press it.
06 - Let it rest for 5 minutes (hot cheese can be dangerous!), then serve with your favorite crackers, bread, or fruit.

# Notes:

01 - Best served warm when the cheese is still gooey
02 - You can prep this ahead and bake just before guests arrive
