Biscuits and Gravy (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 6 biscuits (homemade or pre-made).
02 - 1 pound uncooked sausage.
03 - 1/2 cup flour.
04 - 3-4 cups milk.
05 - Salt and pepper.
06 - Cayenne powder (optional).
07 - Red pepper flakes (optional).

# Instructions:

01 - Brown sausage in large skillet over medium heat until no longer pink. Remove and pat off excess grease.
02 - Return sausage to pan, add flour and stir to coat.
03 - Gradually add milk while cooking on medium heat until desired thickness.
04 - Add salt, pepper, and optional cayenne or red pepper flakes to taste.

# Notes:

01 - Can use any type of biscuits.
02 - Use whole milk for richest gravy.
03 - Keep sausage grease for flavor.
