Combine butter, sugar, syrup, and vanilla. Boil for 1.5-2 minutes, stirring often. Add baking soda. Let foam settle.

Pour caramel over Crispix. Stir gently. Microwave for 1 minute and stir. Repeat 3 more times.

Spread on prepared sheets. Sprinkle with sea salt. Cool completely. Break into pieces.
