Steep Earl Grey in 1 cup boiling water for 3-5 minutes, then remove tea bag or strain

Heat milk with softened cherries and optional cinnamon stick, stirring occasionally

Stir vanilla syrup into milk mixture to taste

Pour tea into mug, strain in milk-cherry mixture while pressing cherries to extract juice. Stir well
