Chicken And Dumpling Soup (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 4 spoons butter.
02 - 1/2 cup cut onion.
03 - 2-3 carrots, cut up.
04 - 3 celery sticks, cut up.
05 - 1 spoon chopped garlic.
06 - 8 cups chicken broth.
07 - 2 pounds chicken, pulled apart.
08 - 1 spoon salt.
09 - 1/2 spoon pepper.
10 - 2 bay leaves.
11 - 1 spoon dried parsley.
12 - 3 spoons cornstarch.
13 - 3 spoons water.
14 - 1 1/2 cups flour.
15 - 1 spoon baking powder.
16 - 1/2 spoon salt.
17 - 3 spoons cold butter.
18 - 3/4 cup milk.

# Instructions:

01 - Melt butter in big pot. Cook onions, carrots, celery till soft. Add garlic, cook 30 seconds.
02 - Add broth, chicken, salt, pepper, bay leaves, and parsley. Let bubble then turn low while making dumplings.
03 - Mix flour, baking powder, and salt in bowl. Grate cold butter in. Mix with hands till butter's coated.
04 - Pour in milk slow, stir till it makes dough. Knead light if needed.
05 - Drop small bits of dough in soup. Cover, cook 15-20 minutes till dumplings float.
06 - Mix cornstarch with cold water. Stir into soup till thick how you like.
