Chicken Parmesan Pasta (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 8 ounces pasta.
02 - 1 tablespoon olive oil.
03 - 2 cloves garlic, minced.
04 - 1 pound chicken breasts, cut into pieces.
05 - 1/2 tablespoon Italian seasoning.
06 - 2 cups pasta sauce.
07 - 1/4 cup shredded parmesan cheese.
08 - 4 ounces mozzarella cheese, sliced.
09 - Salt and pepper to taste.
10 - Optional toppings: basil, red pepper flakes, parmesan.

# Instructions:

01 - Cook pasta al dente according to package. Reserve 2 tablespoons pasta water.
02 - Brown chicken and garlic 5-6 minutes. Add seasonings. Remove excess liquid.
03 - Add pasta sauce and parmesan cheese to chicken, mix to combine.
04 - Add cooked pasta and reserved water. Top with mozzarella, cover until melted.
05 - Add optional toppings and serve.

# Notes:

01 - Can use sliced or shredded mozzarella.
