Chocolate Covered Date Snickers (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - Large Medjool dates, fresh and soft
02 - Natural creamy peanut butter (or preferred nut butter)
03 - Roasted unsalted peanuts (or nuts of choice)
04 - High quality dark chocolate chips or bar
05 - Flaky sea salt for finishing

# Instructions:

01 - Look for the natural seam in each date and slice lengthwise to create a pocket, keeping one side intact
02 - Cover a freezer safe plate with parchment paper. Open each date gently to create a pocket for filling
03 - Spoon creamy nut butter into each date cavity until mostly full. Press in several nuts, then gently close. Place in freezer until firm
04 - While dates chill, melt chocolate until smooth. Let it cool slightly so it coats evenly
05 - Pull dates from freezer. Dip each filled date completely in melted chocolate. Use two spoons to make coating easier
06 - Sprinkle each chocolate covered date with sea salt while still wet. Return to freezer until chocolate sets completely
