Delmonico Potatoes (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 bag (20 oz) Simply Potatoes.
02 - 3/4 cup milk (any kind).
03 - 3/4 cup whipping cream.
04 - 1 teaspoon kosher salt.
05 - 1 teaspoon dry mustard.
06 - Dash of pepper.
07 - Dash of nutmeg.
08 - 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded.
09 - 3 tablespoons butter, sliced into 6 pieces.
10 - Paprika for sprinkling.

# Instructions:

01 - Butter an 8x8 inch casserole dish well.
02 - Spread potatoes evenly in the dish.
03 - Mix milk, cream, salt, mustard, pepper, and nutmeg in a pot.
04 - Heat mixture on medium-high, stirring until almost boiling (5-10 minutes).
05 - Add cheddar cheese, lower heat and stir until melted.
06 - Pour cheese sauce over potatoes.
07 - Let cool slightly.
08 - Place butter slices on top.
09 - Sprinkle with paprika.
10 - Cover with plastic wrap.
11 - Chill overnight or at least 12 hours.
12 - Heat oven to 350°F.
13 - Bake uncovered for 45 minutes.

01 - Double recipe in 9x13 dish for larger groups.
02 - Best made ahead and chilled overnight.
03 - Perfect side dish for any meat.
04 - Keeps well in fridge for 3 days.
