Classic Strawberry Shortcake (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - Fresh strawberries
02 - Heavy cream (36% fat)
03 - Unsalted butter

→ Sweeteners

04 - Granulated sugar (for shortcake)
05 - Powdered sugar (for whipped cream)

→ Shortcake Base

06 - Flour
07 - Baking powder
08 - Salt
09 - Vanilla extract

# Instructions:

01 - Mix dry ingredients, cut in cold butter. Add cream and vanilla until combined.
02 - Pat dough 1-inch thick, cut rounds. Bake 12-15 minutes until golden.
03 - Macerate strawberries with sugar. Whip cream with powdered sugar and vanilla.
04 - Split shortcakes, layer with strawberries and whipped cream.
