Sugar Cookie Icing (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 4 cups (480g) powdered sugar
02 - 5-6 tablespoons milk (75-90ml)
03 - 4 teaspoons light corn syrup
04 - 1 teaspoon clear vanilla extract
05 - Food coloring (optional)

# Instructions:

01 - Whisk powdered sugar, 5 tablespoons milk, corn syrup and vanilla until smooth
02 - Add milk gradually until ribbon of icing holds 3-4 seconds. Remove 1/3 for outline icing
03 - To remaining icing, add more milk until it melts quickly back into bowl
04 - Add food coloring if desired to both icings
05 - Pipe outline first, then flood inside. Use toothpick to fill gaps
06 - Let cookies dry 20-24 hours before stacking

01 - Makes 1 3/4 cups icing
02 - Can be made ahead and refrigerated
03 - Corn syrup gives shine
