Easy Cottage Cheese Flatbread (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 1 cup cottage cheese
02 - 1 cup self-rising flour

# Instructions:

01 - In a mixing bowl, combine the cottage cheese and self-rising flour. Stir with a spoon or spatula until the mixture forms a soft, sticky dough. If the dough is too sticky to handle, add more flour, one tablespoon at a time, until manageable.
02 - Lightly flour a clean surface and turn the dough out onto it. Divide the dough into 4 equal portions. Using a rolling pin or your hands, gently flatten each portion into a round or oval shape, about 1/4-inch thick.
03 - Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat. Once hot, cook each flatbread for 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown spots appear and the bread is cooked through.
04 - Serve the flatbreads warm. They can be enjoyed plain or topped with ingredients like hummus, avocado, smoked salmon, or a drizzle of honey.

# Notes:

01 - To make self-rising flour substitute: Mix 1 cup all-purpose flour with 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder and 1/4 teaspoon salt
02 - The thickness of the flatbreads can be adjusted according to personal preference
