Crock Pot Bourbon Chicken (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 3 pounds chicken thighs.
02 - 3 spoons cornstarch.
03 - 1/4 cup green onions.
04 - 1/2 spoon fresh ginger.
05 - 4 garlic cloves, tiny cut.
06 - 1/2 spoon red pepper flakes.
07 - 1/3 cup apple juice.
08 - 1 1/2 spoons honey.
09 - 1/4 cup brown sugar.
10 - 1/4 cup ketchup.
11 - 3 spoons apple vinegar.
12 - 1/4 cup water.
13 - 1/4 cup bourbon.
14 - 1/4 cup soy sauce.
15 - Salt and pepper.

# Instructions:

01 - Mix all sauce stuff in bowl.
02 - Put chicken in slow cooker. Pour sauce over. Cook low 6-7 hours or high 3 hours.
03 - Take chicken out, cut in bits. Keep warm.
04 - Mix cornstarch with 3 spoons water. Turn pot to high.
05 - Stir cornstarch mix into sauce. Cover 10 minutes till thick.
06 - Put chicken back in. Add green onions.
07 - Serve over rice.

# Notes:

01 - Use regular soy sauce - not light.
02 - Can thicken sauce on stove if you want.
