Extra Easy Lasagna (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 pound ground beef
02 - 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
03 - 2 (14-ounce) cans chopped tomatoes
04 - 2 (6-ounce) cans tomato paste
05 - 1 teaspoon salt
06 - 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
07 - 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
08 - 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
09 - 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
10 - 1 (8-ounce) package no-boil lasagna noodles
11 - 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
12 - 1 cup ricotta or cottage cheese
13 - 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
14 - 6 slices fresh mozzarella cheese
15 - Chopped parsley for garnish

# Instructions:

01 - Brown ground beef in oil, drain fat. Add tomatoes, paste and seasonings. Simmer 5 minutes.
02 - Layer noodles, meat sauce, and cheeses in greased baking dish. Repeat layers. Top with mozzarella slices.
03 - Cover with foil and bake at 350°F for 35-45 minutes. Uncover and bake 10 more minutes.
04 - Let rest 10 minutes before serving. Garnish with parsley if desired.

# Notes:

01 - Can use cottage cheese instead of ricotta
02 - No need to boil noodles
03 - Let rest before cutting
