Fall Fruit Salad For Thanksgiving And Christmas (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 green apples.
02 - 2 red apples.
03 - 3/4 cup dried cranberries.
04 - 1 cup pecans.
05 - 1 cup grapes.
06 - 3 oranges.
07 - 1 lemon juice.
08 - 1/2 cup orange juice.
09 - 1/4 cup sugar.
10 - 1/4 spoon apple pie spice.
11 - 1 lemon zest.
12 - 1 orange zest.

# Instructions:

01 - Heat oven to 350°. Put pecans on a pan. Take out when they smell nutty. Let cool.
02 - Mix in a small pot: orange juice, sugar, apple pie spice, both zests. Heat till it bubbles a bit. Cook 3-4 minutes till thick.
03 - Pour through strainer into bowl. Let cool.
04 - Cut apples into bite-size pieces. Mix with half the lemon juice so they stay fresh.
05 - Peel oranges. Cut into bits.
06 - Put in big bowl: apples, cranberries, nuts, grapes, oranges.
07 - Pour cool sauce over fruit. Mix well. Best served right away.
