Green Bean Casserole (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 8 oz. mushrooms
02 - 2 cloves garlic
03 - 1 spoon olive oil
04 - 3/4 spoon salt
05 - 1/4 spoon black pepper
06 - 4 spoons butter
07 - 1/4 cup flour
08 - 1 cup veggie broth
09 - 1 cup whole milk
10 - 1/8 spoon garlic powder
11 - 4 oz. cream cheese
12 - 24 oz. frozen cut green beans
13 - 1 cup crispy onions

# Instructions:

01 - Heat oven to 350ยบ. Chop mushrooms small. Cut up garlic tiny.
02 - Put oil in big pan on medium heat. Add mushrooms with a little salt and pepper. Cook till soft. Add garlic and cook till water is gone.
03 - Put in butter and flour. Mix till they make a paste on pan bottom. Keep stirring for 2 minutes till it looks light brown.
04 - Pour in broth, milk, and garlic powder. Mix well, scraping the brown bits off the bottom. Let it bubble and get thick.
05 - Add cream cheese. Stir till it melts into the sauce.
06 - Put in frozen beans. Mix and cook till beans are hot and sauce bubbles a bit. Taste it - add salt and pepper if needed.
07 - Mix in 1/4 cup crispy onions. Put everything in a baking dish. Sprinkle rest of crispy onions on top.
08 - Bake 20-25 minutes till onions turn brown and sauce bubbles at the edges.
