Ground Beef Stroganoff (Hamburger) (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 pound lean ground beef.
02 - 1 small onion, diced.
03 - 1 clove garlic, minced.
04 - 12 ounces mushrooms, sliced.
05 - 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour.
06 - 2 cups beef broth.
07 - 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce.
08 - Salt and black pepper to taste.
09 - 3/4 cup sour cream.
10 - 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley.

# Instructions:

01 - Brown ground beef, onion and garlic until no pink remains, trying not to break up meat too much. Drain fat.
02 - Cook mushrooms 2-3 minutes, then stir in flour and cook 1 minute more.
03 - Add broth, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper. Bring to boil then simmer 10 minutes.
04 - Remove from heat, stir in sour cream and parsley. Serve over egg noodles.

# Notes:

01 - Don't use low sodium broth.
02 - Add off heat to prevent sour cream curdling.
03 - Can substitute Greek yogurt for sour cream.
04 - Fresh mushrooms preferred but can use canned.
