Ground Beef Teriyaki Stir Fry (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 cup beef broth.
02 - ¼ cup soy sauce.
03 - 3 tablespoons brown sugar.
04 - 2 tablespoons honey.
05 - 3 garlic cloves, minced.
06 - 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated or minced.
07 - 2 tablespoons corn starch.
08 - 1 tablespoon orange zest.
09 - ½ teaspoon black pepper.
10 - ¼-½ teaspoon red pepper flakes.
11 - 2 teaspoons sesame oil.
12 - 1 lb ground beef.
13 - 3 cups broccoli florets.
14 - 1 cup shredded carrots.
15 - 4-5 green onions, chopped.
16 - Sea salt to taste.

# Instructions:

01 - Whisk together beef broth, soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, garlic, ginger, cornstarch, orange zest, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Set aside.
02 - Chop and prepare all vegetables before starting to cook.
03 - Heat sesame oil in large skillet over medium-high. Cook ground beef until internal temperature reaches 160°F, about 6-8 minutes.
04 - Add broccoli, green onion and carrots. Cook until heated through and tender.
05 - Reduce heat to low, add teriyaki sauce and simmer until thickened. Serve over rice.
