Holiday Sangria (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 (750 ml) bottle red wine.
02 - 1 cup brandy.
03 - 1/4 cup sugar.
04 - 2 cups cranberries.
05 - 1 orange, sliced.
06 - 1 apple, cubed.
07 - 2 cinnamon sticks.
08 - 4 star anise.
09 - 4 sprigs rosemary, plus more for garnish.
10 - 1 bottle sparkling apple cider, chilled.
11 - Equal parts cinnamon and sugar for rimming (optional).
12 - Maple syrup or honey for rimming (optional).

# Instructions:

01 - Mix wine, brandy, sugar, fruits, cinnamon sticks, star anise and rosemary in large pitcher.
02 - Cover and refrigerate overnight to blend flavors.
03 - Add sparkling cider just before serving.
04 - Mix cinnamon and sugar, dip glass rim in honey/syrup then sugar mixture.
05 - Pour over ice and garnish with rosemary sprigs.
