Melt butter and chocolate in a bowl (30 seconds at a time). Cool for 15 minutes.

Mix flour, cocoa, baking powder, and salt.

Beat sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Add the chocolate mixture and then add flour mixture bit by bit.

Chill the dough for 1 hour. If chilling longer than 4 hours, let warm for 30 minutes beforehand.

Heat oven to 325°F. Line pans with paper.

Drop spoons of dough 2 inches apart on the baking sheet.

Bake for 10-12 minutes until crackly.

Push half a marshmallow on each cookie.

Bake for 3 more minutes until marshmallows are soft.

Cool cookies for 5 minutes on the tray, then move to a rack.

Mix icing ingredients. Place rack over a pan and spoon icing on marshmallows. Quickly add sprinkles.
