Mix flour and baking powder together in small bowl. Set aside.

Beat butter until fluffy. Add eggs, sugar, and almond extract, mix until combined though mixture will look chunky.

Add flour mixture and mix just until combined. Chill dough for at least one hour.

Roll dough into balls using small scoop or tablespoon. Place 1 inch apart on parchment-lined baking sheet.

Bake at 350°F for 8-10 minutes until set but not overbaked. Cool completely.

Mix powdered sugar with milk gradually until thick glaze forms. Add extract.

Dip cooled cookies in glaze, place on rack to drip. Add sprinkles while icing is wet.
