Italian Stromboli (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 lb pizza dough.
02 - 1 spoon olive oil.
03 - 1 garlic clove, chopped tiny.
04 - 1/4 spoon dried oregano.
05 - Pinch of red pepper (if you like heat).
06 - 3 spoons grated romano cheese.
07 - 4 slices (3 oz) provolone.
08 - 4 slices (3 oz) ham.
09 - 4 slices (3 oz) mozzarella.
10 - 14 slices (3 oz) Italian meats (salami, pepperoni).
11 - 1 egg, beaten.
12 - Marinara sauce for dipping.

# Instructions:

01 - Heat oven to 375°. Put paper on big baking pan.
02 - Roll dough on floured counter into 10x12 inch rectangle.
03 - Put dough with long side near you. Brush with oil, leave 1-inch edge clean.
04 - Spread garlic, oregano, pepper flakes, romano cheese on oil.
05 - Layer cheeses and meats: provolone first, then ham, mozzarella, other meats.
06 - Brush edges with egg. Fold bottom up, top down like a letter. Pinch edges tight.
07 - Put on pan, seam down. Cover loose with plastic. Let sit 1 hour.
08 - Brush with egg. Cut 5 small slits on top.
09 - Bake 35 minutes till brown. Middle should be 200°.
10 - Cool 15-20 minutes. Cut in 1-inch slices. Serve with sauce.

# Notes:

01 - 1 lb dough is just right.
02 - Make early, keep cold up to 12 hours.
03 - Can freeze up to 3 months (no egg wash or slits).
04 - Add more cooking time if cold.
