Easy Italian Sub Squares (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - Crescent roll dough sheets (2 cans)

→ Meats & Cheese

02 - Provolone cheese (8 ounces, sliced)
03 - Deli pepperoni (¼ pound, sliced)
04 - Deli ham (¼ pound, sliced)
05 - Genoa salami (¼ pound, sliced)

→ Vegetables

06 - Roasted red bell peppers (12 ounce can, drained and sliced)
07 - Pepperoncini (½ cup, sliced and drained)

→ Topping

08 - Large egg (1)
09 - Prepared pesto (1 tablespoon)
10 - Grated parmesan cheese (1 tablespoon)

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F and spray 9x13 baking dish with cooking spray
02 - Press one sheet of crescent dough into dish, extending 1 inch up sides
03 - Layer half the provolone, then pepperoni, ham, salami, peppers, pepperoncini, and remaining cheese
04 - Cover with second crescent dough sheet, pinch edges to seal
05 - Mix egg, pesto, and parmesan, brush over top dough
06 - Cover with sprayed foil and bake 30 minutes, then uncover and bake 15-20 minutes until golden brown
07 - Cool for 10 minutes before cutting and serving
