Lasagna Burger (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 ciabatta bun.
02 - 1 tablespoon butter.
03 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder.
04 - 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning.
05 - 2 tablespoons olive oil.
06 - 2 cloves garlic, minced.
07 - 14 oz crushed tomatoes.
08 - Salt and black pepper.
09 - Red pepper flakes.
10 - Oregano.
11 - 1/3 pound ground beef, split in half.
12 - 1/4 pound hot Italian sausage.
13 - 1 lasagna noodle, boiled.
14 - 3 slices mozzarella cheese.
15 - 1 tablespoon ricotta cheese.

# Instructions:

01 - Butter both sides of the bun, add garlic powder and Italian seasoning, then broil until golden.
02 - Cook minced garlic in olive oil, add crushed tomatoes and seasonings, simmer for 10 minutes, then add cut lasagna noodles.
03 - Form ground beef and sausage into balls, heat a cast iron pan very hot, smash balls into patties, cook 1 minute per side, then add cheese to beef patties.
04 - Layer as follows: Bottom bun, beef patty, lasagna noodle and ricotta, sausage patty, lasagna noodle and ricotta, beef patty, lasagna noodle and ricotta, top bun.
05 - Let rest a few minutes before serving for better structure.

01 - Makes enough sauce for 5 burgers.
