Combine milk, honey and lavender in saucepan. Heat until scalded but do not boil.

Remove from heat and let lavender steep for 2 minutes.

Add tea and mint (if using) and steep for 2 more minutes.

Strain into cups. Optionally reserve 1/2 cup milk to froth for latte-style top.
