One Pot Marry Me Chicken Pasta (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 pound chicken breasts, sliced thin.
02 - ¼ cup all-purpose flour.
03 - 2 tablespoons olive oil.
04 - 2 tablespoons butter.
05 - 4 cloves garlic, minced.
06 - ¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper flake.
07 - 2 cups low-sodium chicken broth.
08 - 1 cup heavy cream.
09 - ¼ cup julienne sun dried tomatoes in oil, drained.
10 - ½ teaspoon italian seasoning.
11 - 8 oz penne, uncooked.
12 - 1 cup Parmesan cheese, freshly shredded.
13 - Fresh basil.
14 - Kosher salt.
15 - Freshly ground black pepper.

# Instructions:

01 - Pat chicken dry, season with salt and pepper, dredge in flour. Brown in olive oil over medium-high heat, then set aside.
02 - Add butter, garlic, and red pepper to pan. Sauté 1-2 minutes. Add broth, cream, tomatoes, seasonings and stir, scraping pan bottom.
03 - Add pasta and top with chicken. Cover and cook on medium-low about 20 minutes until pasta tender and chicken reaches 165℉.
04 - Remove chicken to rest. Stir in parmesan and basil. Slice chicken, add back to pasta and serve.
