Roasted Green Beans (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - Green beans, ends trimmed (500g/1 lb).
02 - Olive oil, separated (2 tablespoons).
03 - Garlic cloves, finely chopped (2).
04 - Salt (1/2 teaspoon).
05 - Pepper (1/2 teaspoon).
06 - Panko breadcrumbs (1/3 cup).
07 - Grated parmesan (1/3 cup).

# Instructions:

01 - Heat oven to 220C/425F or set broiler on high with shelf 30cm/12 inches from heat.
02 - Place beans on tray, drizzle with 1 tablespoon oil, garlic, salt and pepper. Toss to coat.
03 - Line up beans on tray in rows, pushing them close together.
04 - Sprinkle with breadcrumbs then parmesan. Drizzle with remaining oil.
05 - Roast for 15 minutes or broil for 8 minutes until parmesan is golden.
06 - Transfer to serving platter using spatula and serve immediately.

# Notes:

01 - Use store-bought grated parmesan or double amount if freshly grated.
02 - Can use frozen beans if thawed and dried well.
03 - Best served immediately while crispy.
