Pecan Turtle Bars (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1.5 cups all-purpose flour.
02 - 1 cup brown sugar (for crust).
03 - 0.5 cup butter, softened (for crust).
04 - 0.67 cup butter (for turtle layer).
05 - 0.5 cup brown sugar (for turtle layer).
06 - 1 cup pecan halves.
07 - 1 cup milk chocolate chips.

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
02 - Mix flour, brown sugar, and softened butter until crumbly. Press into ungreased 13x9 inch pan.
03 - Cook butter and brown sugar until bubbling, stir 30-60 seconds more to thicken.
04 - Spread pecans over crust, pour hot caramel over pecans.
05 - Bake 18-20 minutes until bubbly and edges are golden.
06 - Sprinkle chocolate chips over hot surface, let melt 2-3 minutes, then swirl.
07 - Cool completely for 30 minutes, cut into 48 bars cleaning knife between cuts.
