Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and add the pasta. Halfway through cooking, add the frozen peas to the water. Cook for 1 minute less than package instructions for al dente texture.

In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil. Cook finely diced onions and bacon until crisp but not burned.

Drain pasta and peas, then add to the onion-bacon mixture. Lower heat to medium and stir in heavy cream. Add more cream if needed.
