# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 1 large apple (e.g., Fuji or any tart variety)
02 - 1 can Pillsbury Crescent dough
03 - 1/2 cup butter
04 - 2/3 cup sugar
05 - 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
06 - 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
07 - 3/4 cup (6 oz) 7-Up or similar soda

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease an 8×8 baking dish.
02 - Slice the apple into 8 to 10 wedges and peel off the skin. Set the wedges aside.
03 - Separate the crescent roll dough into individual triangles.
04 - Wrap each apple wedge in a crescent roll triangle, starting from the wide end and pinching to seal completely. Dry the apple wedges before wrapping for easier handling. Place wrapped apples in the greased baking dish.
05 - Melt butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir in sugar and cinnamon, then whisk continuously until the mixture thickens. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.
06 - Pour the prepared cinnamon sauce evenly over the wrapped apple dumplings. Then pour the 7-Up soda over the dumplings.
07 - Bake in the preheated oven for 40 to 45 minutes, or until the dumplings are golden brown.

# Notes:

01 - Patting the apple wedges dry before wrapping helps the dough adhere better.
