Pomegranate Jelly (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 5 cups pure pomegranate juice.
02 - 7 cups white sugar.
03 - 1 pack dry pectin (1.75 oz).
04 - 1 spoon butter if you want.

# Instructions:

01 - Wash 4 jars and lids in warm soap water. Dry on a towel.
02 - If using fresh fruit, blend seeds and strain juice.
03 - Mix juice, pectin, butter in a big pot. Heat till bubbling.
04 - Warm clean jars in hot water.
05 - Add sugar all at once. Stir till bubbling again. Cook 2 1/2 minutes.
06 - Take off heat. Skim foam off top.
07 - Fill warm jars, leave 1/4 inch space. Clean rims, add lids.
08 - Boil filled jars 10 minutes covered in water. Cool to seal.

# Notes:

01 - Butter helps stop foam.
02 - Check lid rules - some don't need heating.
03 - If freezing, leave extra space.
