Potato Cheese Sticks (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Core Ingredients

01 - 3 russet potatoes, cooked and cubed
02 - ½ cup sour cream
03 - ¼ cup bacon, diced
04 - ¼ cup green onion, diced
05 - 1 block cheddar cheese, cut into strips

→ Coating

06 - ⅔ cup cornstarch
07 - 100g panko breadcrumbs
08 - Flour for coating
09 - Egg for coating
10 - 1 teaspoon salt
11 - ½ teaspoon pepper

→ Frying

12 - 1 litre vegetable, canola, or peanut oil

# Instructions:

01 - Mix potatoes, bacon, green onions, sour cream, salt, and pepper until mostly smooth.
02 - Wrap potato mixture around cheese strips, ensuring complete coverage.
03 - Dredge in flour, egg, then cornstarch-panko mixture.
04 - Fry at 350°F for 3 minutes until golden, or bake at 400°F for 15 minutes.
