Puff Pastry Christmas Tree (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 sheets puff pastry, regular or gluten free.
02 - 1/4 cup melted unsalted butter.
03 - 1/4 cup granulated sugar.
04 - 1 teaspoon cinnamon.
05 - Powdered sugar for garnish.
06 - 8 skewers.
07 - 8 Rolo candies (optional).

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F. Line baking pan with parchment paper. Combine cinnamon and sugar in small bowl.
02 - Place one puff pastry sheet on parchment. Brush with half the melted butter, sprinkle with cinnamon sugar. Place second sheet on top.
03 - Cut into 1-inch strips with pizza cutter. Roll each strip accordion style. Put wooden skewer through each tree.
04 - Brush with remaining butter. Freeze for 10 minutes before baking.
05 - Bake 15-20 minutes until puffy and barely golden. Dust with powdered sugar. Optionally add Rolo candy at base of skewers.

# Notes:

01 - Use room temperature puff pastry.
02 - Best eaten within 24 hours.
03 - Can trim skewers for shorter trees.
