01 - 1 lb chicken breast, diced
02 - 1 lb smoked beef sausage, sliced
03 - 12 oz penne or rotini pasta
04 - 4 cups chicken broth
05 - 1 cup heavy cream
06 - 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
07 - 1 packet ranch seasoning or 2 tbsp homemade
08 - 1 tbsp olive oil or butter
09 - Salt and pepper to taste
10 - Chopped parsley or green onions (optional)

# Instructions:

01 - Heat oil or butter in a large pot over medium heat. Add diced chicken breast, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned.
02 - Add sliced smoked beef sausage to the pot and sauté for 2–3 minutes until lightly browned.
03 - Stir in ranch seasoning, chicken broth, heavy cream, and pasta. Ensure all ingredients are well-mixed.
04 - Cover the pot and simmer on medium-low heat for 12–15 minutes or until pasta is cooked and liquid is mostly absorbed.
05 - Stir in shredded cheddar cheese until the mixture becomes creamy and well-incorporated.
06 - Top with chopped parsley or green onions if desired. Serve hot.
