Sticky Honey Lemon Chicken (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 tablespoon low-sodium soy sauce.
02 - 1 egg.
03 - 1/2 cup cornstarch.
04 - 1 pound chicken breasts or thighs.
05 - 3 tablespoons olive oil.
06 - 1 tablespoon grated ginger.
07 - 2 garlic cloves, minced.
08 - 1 large lemon, zested and juiced.
09 - 2 tablespoons honey.
10 - 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce.
11 - 1 1/2 tablespoons rice vinegar.
12 - 1/4 teaspoon chili flakes.
13 - Scallions and sesame seeds for garnish.

# Instructions:

01 - Whisk together lemon juice, zest, honey, soy sauce, vinegar and chili flakes.
02 - Mix soy sauce and egg, coat chicken. Then dip in cornstarch to coat completely.
03 - Fry chicken in batches until golden and crispy. Remove to plate.
04 - Sauté garlic and ginger. Add sauce and chicken, cook until sauce thickens and coats chicken.
05 - Garnish with scallions and sesame seeds.
