Quick Spicy Ramen Noodles (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Noodles

01 - 1 package (3 oz) dry instant ramen noodles, seasoning packet discarded

→ Sauce & Aromatics

02 - 1 tablespoon sesame oil
03 - 1 tablespoon finely chopped white part of green onion
04 - 1 teaspoon finely chopped garlic
05 - 1 teaspoon chili flakes
06 - 2 tablespoons soy sauce
07 - ½ teaspoon brown sugar, or to taste
08 - 1 tablespoon chopped green onion for garnish

# Instructions:

01 - Bring water to boil in a pan. Cook ramen noodles until al dente, discarding the seasoning packet
02 - Save ¼ cup of the noodle cooking water, then drain the noodles
03 - Whisk together soy sauce and brown sugar in a bowl and set aside
04 - Heat sesame oil in a pan. Sauté onion and garlic for one minute, then add chili flakes
05 - Add sauce mix and reserved noodle water. Add ramen noodles and toss gently. Garnish with green onions and serve hot
