Crock Pot Teriyaki Chicken (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 1/2 pounds chicken thighs.
02 - 2/3 cup low-salt soy sauce.
03 - 3 spoons rice vinegar.
04 - 3 spoons honey.
05 - 3 spoons brown sugar.
06 - 1 garlic clove, tiny cut.
07 - 1 spoon fresh ginger, tiny cut.
08 - 2 spoons water.
09 - 1 spoon cornstarch.
10 - Sesame seeds for top.
11 - Green onions for top.
12 - Rice or quinoa for serving.

# Instructions:

01 - Put chicken in slow cooker.
02 - Mix soy sauce, vinegar, honey, sugar, garlic, ginger in bowl.
03 - Pour over chicken.
04 - Cook high 2 hours or low 4 hours till tender.
05 - Take chicken out. Pull apart with forks.
06 - Strain sauce into pan.
07 - Mix cornstarch and water. Add to sauce.
08 - Heat sauce, stirring till thick (1-2 minutes).
09 - Mix chicken back in sauce.
10 - Serve on rice. Top with seeds and onions.

01 - Keeps 4 days in fridge.
02 - Heat leftovers in pan or microwave.
03 - Freezes 3 months.
