Cream butter and sugar for 1-2 minutes until light and fluffy. Add flour and mix on low just until dough comes together.

Form dough into ball, wrap in plastic, and refrigerate at least 60 minutes.

Roll dough 1/4-1/2 inch thick and cut with cookie cutters. Chill shapes while preheating oven.
