Turkey Noodle Soup (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 4 tablespoons butter.
02 - 1/2 onion, diced.
03 - 3 carrots, peeled and diced.
04 - 2 celery stalks, diced.
05 - 1 teaspoon garlic, minced.
06 - 1 1/2 teaspoons dried thyme.
07 - 1 teaspoon dried parsley.
08 - 1/2 teaspoon dried basil.
09 - 1/3 cup flour.
10 - 8 cups turkey broth.
11 - 4 cups shredded turkey.
12 - 12 ounces canned evaporated milk.
13 - 1 1/2 teaspoons salt.
14 - 1/2 teaspoon pepper.
15 - 12 ounces dried egg noodles.
16 - 1 cup frozen peas.

# Instructions:

01 - Melt butter in large pot. Add onion, carrots, and celery, cook until softened.
02 - Stir in garlic and herbs, cook 1 minute. Sprinkle with flour to form paste.
03 - Add broth and whisk for 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
04 - Add turkey, milk, and noodles. Simmer 15 minutes until noodles are tender.
05 - Add peas, cook 5 more minutes. Adjust seasoning and garnish with parsley.
