In a large skillet or deep sauté pan, cook ground beef over medium-high heat until browned and cooked through. Season with salt and pepper, then drain excess grease if needed and set aside.

In the same pan, melt butter and add minced garlic. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant—be careful not to burn the garlic.

Add the dry pasta to the pan, followed by beef broth and water. Stir well, bring to a boil, then reduce heat to medium-low. Simmer uncovered, stirring occasionally, for 10-12 minutes, or until the pasta is al dente and most of the liquid has absorbed.

Return the cooked ground beef to the pan. Stir in Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning. Optional: Add a splash of cream for a silkier texture.

Taste and adjust salt and pepper if needed. Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs or extra Parmesan.
