Break up Shredded Wheat into fine pieces in a big mixing bowl, and set it aside.

Heat the butter and golden syrup slowly in a saucepan, stirring every now and then until the butter is fully melted. Take it off the heat, then stir in the milk and dark chocolate pieces until they melt completely.

Pour the melted chocolate and syrup mixture over the crushed Shredded Wheat and mix thoroughly.

Use a pair of spoons or an ice cream/cookie scoop to shape the mixture into little nests on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Add three Easter chocolates on top of each nest.

Place the tray in the fridge and leave until the nests are firm and solid.
