Cinnamon Sugar Bread (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 cups (250g) all-purpose flour.
02 - 1 1/2 cups (300g) granulated sugar.
03 - 2 teaspoons baking powder.
04 - 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt.
05 - 1 1/4 cups (306g) whole milk.
06 - 1 large egg, room temperature.
07 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted.
08 - 1 tablespoon vanilla extract.
09 - 1/4 cup (57g) unsalted butter, melted (for coating).
10 - 1/2 cup (100g) granulated sugar (for coating).
11 - 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon.
12 - 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg.

# Instructions:

01 - Heat oven to 350°F. Spray 8.5x4.5-inch loaf pan with cooking spray.
02 - Combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in large bowl.
03 - Whisk milk, egg, melted butter and vanilla in separate bowl.
04 - Stir wet ingredients into dry just until combined. Don't overmix.
05 - Pour into pan and bake 60-70 minutes until toothpick comes out with few crumbs.
06 - Cool 10 minutes, remove from pan, brush with butter and coat in spiced sugar mixture.

# Notes:

01 - Don't overmix batter.
02 - Coat while still warm.
03 - Extra sugar coating can be saved.
