Pecan Pie (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 whole unbaked pie crust.
02 - 1 cup granulated sugar.
03 - 3 Tablespoons brown sugar.
04 - 1/2 teaspoon salt.
05 - 1 cup light corn syrup.
06 - 1/3 cup melted salted butter.
07 - 3 whole eggs, beaten.
08 - 3/4 teaspoon vanilla.
09 - 1 heaping cup chopped pecans.

# Instructions:

01 - Place prepared pie crust in a 9-inch pie pan.
02 - Preheat the oven to 350°F.
03 - Stir together granulated sugar, brown sugar, salt, corn syrup, melted butter, beaten eggs, and vanilla.
04 - Pour chopped pecans into unbaked pie shell, then pour syrup mixture over the pecans.
05 - Cover pie lightly with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
06 - Remove foil and continue baking for 20-45 minutes until set and not overly jiggly.
07 - Allow to cool for several hours or overnight before serving in thin slivers.

# Notes:

01 - Baking time varies from 50-75 minutes total.
02 - Pie should not be overly jiggly when done.
03 - Needs several hours to cool and set properly.
