Cake Pops (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 box white cake mix with required ingredients (eggs, milk, butter/oil).
02 - 1/4 cup vegetable oil.
03 - 1/2 cup room temperature butter.
04 - 1 cup powdered sugar.
05 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
06 - 1 teaspoon milk.
07 - 3 1/2 cups chocolate or candy melts.
08 - 40 cake pop sticks.
09 - 1 pack sprinkles for decoration.

# Instructions:

01 - Mix cake according to box instructions, adding extra 1/4 cup oil. Bake as directed.
02 - Let cake cool 15 minutes. Remove from pan and crumble into fine crumbs in large bowl.
03 - Beat butter, powdered sugar, vanilla, and milk for 4 minutes until fluffy.
04 - Add 3/4 of frosting to cake crumbs. Mix until combined. Add remaining frosting if needed.
05 - Roll mixture into balls. Chill 10 minutes, then re-roll for smoothness.
06 - Freeze balls 30 minutes or refrigerate 90 minutes.
07 - Melt chocolate in 20-second bursts, stirring between each.
08 - Dip stick in chocolate, insert into balls.
09 - Dip balls in chocolate, tap off excess, add sprinkles before setting.
10 - Stand pops upright to set completely.

# Notes:

01 - Use homemade frosting instead of boxed for better taste.
02 - Candy melts work better than regular chocolate for coating.
03 - Keep cake balls cold while working to prevent falling off sticks.
