Golden Garlic Herb Dipping Oil (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Golden Garlic Base

01 - 2 tablespoons good-quality olive oil
02 - 3 tablespoons fresh garlic, minced into tiny pieces

→ Fresh Herb Mix

03 - ¼ cup cold pressed extra virgin olive oil (the best you can find)
04 - 2 tablespoons fresh basil leaves, finely chopped
05 - 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped fine
06 - 3 tablespoons fresh Parmesan cheese, finely grated

→ Seasonings

07 - ¼ teaspoon sea salt
08 - ¼ teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
09 - 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning blend
10 - ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (skip if you don't like heat)
11 - 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar (optional but adds nice flavor)

# Instructions:

01 - Pour olive oil into a small pan over medium heat. Once it's hot, toss in the minced garlic and cook until it turns a beautiful golden brown around the edges. Keep a close eye on it - garlic can burn quickly! Take the pan off the heat once done.
02 - Grab a nice shallow bowl or dipping plate. Mix together your fresh rosemary, basil, salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, Parmesan, and red pepper flakes if using.
03 - Pour in your olive oil and the golden garlic mixture, giving everything a good stir. If you're using it, drizzle the balsamic vinegar on top for extra flavor.
04 - Set it out with your favorite warm bread, crusty pizza crust, or pita for dipping. The oil tastes best when the flavors have had a few minutes to blend together.

# Notes:

01 - This oil tastes even better after the flavors have had time to mingle
02 - Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to a week - just let it come to room temp before serving
