Lebanese Kafta Kebabs (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Meat & Produce

01 - Lean ground beef (600 grams)
02 - Yellow onion (1 medium, quartered)
03 - Fresh parsley (1 cup, washed and dried)

→ Seasonings

04 - Salt (1 teaspoon)
05 - Black pepper (¼ teaspoon)
06 - Seven spice blend (¼ teaspoon)
07 - Cayenne (⅛ teaspoon, or more to taste)

# Instructions:

01 - Pulse onion and parsley in food processor until finely chopped
02 - Combine ground beef, processed onion-parsley mixture, and all spices in large bowl, mix thoroughly with hands
03 - Mold meat mixture around skewers, forming 1 to 1½ inch thick layers
04 - Cook on oiled, medium-high grill for 4 minutes per side or until cooked through

# Notes:

01 - Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes before use
02 - Can substitute allspice for seven spice blend
03 - Can be shaped into patties for burgers
04 - Can be baked at 375°F for 15-20 minutes instead of grilling
05 - Keeps 3-4 days in fridge or 3 months in freezer
