Peppermint Oreo Cookies (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - ½ cup cold butter, cubed.
02 - ½ cup brown sugar.
03 - ¼ cup white sugar.
04 - 1 large egg.
05 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
06 - ¼ teaspoon salt.
07 - ½ teaspoon baking soda.
08 - ½ teaspoon baking powder.
09 - 3 teaspoons cornstarch.
10 - 1½ cups all-purpose flour.
11 - ½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips.
12 - ½ cup white chocolate chips.
13 - ½ cup peppermint bits.
14 - 8 Oreo cookies, chopped.

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F. Line baking sheets. Cube cold butter.
02 - Cream cold butter and brown sugar until fluffy. Add egg, vanilla, then white sugar. Cream 2-3 minutes more.
03 - Mix in flour, baking soda, baking powder, cornstarch, and salt until combined.
04 - Stir in both chocolate chips, peppermint pieces, and chopped Oreos. Reserve some for topping.
05 - Scoop ⅓ cup dough portions, top with reserved mix-ins. Bake 9-11 minutes until edges set.
