Cheesesteak Egg Rolls (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 1/2 tablespoons butter.
02 - 1 green bell pepper, chopped.
03 - 1/2 cup onion, chopped.
04 - 1 pound boneless rib eye steak, sliced or chopped.
05 - Salt and pepper to taste.
06 - 6 slices provolone cheese.
07 - 12 egg roll wrappers.
08 - Oil for frying.
09 - Ranch for dipping (optional).

# Instructions:

01 - Heat half the butter in a large pan over medium-high heat. Cook peppers and onions for 3-4 minutes until soft. Remove and keep warm.
02 - Add remaining butter to pan. Season steak with salt and pepper, then cook 3-4 minutes until browned.
03 - Return vegetables to pan with steak.
04 - Lay out egg roll wrappers. Place half a cheese slice in center of each.
05 - Add 2-3 tablespoons steak mixture to each wrapper. Fold according to package, sealing edges with water.
06 - Heat oil to 350°F in deep pan, about 2-3 inches deep.
07 - Fry 3-4 rolls at a time, turning until golden brown, about 3-5 minutes.
08 - Drain on paper towels. Serve with ranch or preferred dipping sauce.

# Notes:

01 - Can be baked instead at 425°F for 15-20 minutes.
02 - Make sure not to overfill wrappers.
03 - Best served hot and crispy.
04 - Perfect for game day or parties.
